The Manner of the Kings and the Rubaiyat demonstrate how the Persians are one of the most spiritual people. The Persians live by the Qur'an and worship their great teacher Allah; consequently, they have good morals, since the Qur’an teaches them to follow the golden rule. In addition, the poems also show how the Persians live their life to the fullest and believe in an afterlife. "The Moving Finger writes: and, having writ, Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it."
